# Our first Build Week: four new features at a glance

Construction logistics takes time: coordinating, searching, planning, making follow-up calls. During our first Build Week from October 26-30, we introduced a new feature every day, built to give you more time for building. Here's everything at a glance to review.

## Monday: The AI Assistant on [klarx.de](/)

Which machine fits my project? The AI Assistant on the new [klarx.de](/) answers this question with targeted follow-up questions about working height, obstacles, and ground conditions. It knows our catalog of over 530,000 machines across 275 product categories, and you can request the right machine directly from the chat.

## Tuesday: Live Locations in klarxMANAGER

Where is the excavator actually located? Machines from our fluid fleet now appear directly on your construction project's map, with the last location report and rental end date. Combined with the construction plan, the same data will soon show how efficiently the machines are running on the job site.

## Wednesday: The klarx MCP Server

What happens when your own AI can rent construction machines? With the MCP Server, you connect Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, Langdock, or your own agents to klarx. You request machines, create projects, view active rentals, and retrieve invoice data—all directly in chat. Your AI can do exactly what your klarx login allows. To our knowledge, klarx is the first construction equipment rental platform in Germany to enable this.

## Thursday: The Container Planner

How many containers does the construction site need, and how should they be arranged? In the Container Planner, you assemble your installation to scale in 3D, directly in the browser, free of charge and without login. It knows the klarx catalog from office containers to power generators and exports floor plans, views, and parts lists as PDF. With Claude, it's even faster: insert the site plan, have the installation planned, modify it with a sentence, and request it directly via the MCP Server.

## What's next

That was our first Build Week, with more to come. If you have an idea for what we should build next, write to us at [info@klarx.com](mailto:info@klarx.com).

## A personal note

I've been building software for over 20 years. In the last year, AI has changed my work more than the entire decade before it. All four new features this week involve AI, and we implemented and wrote most of them with AI's help. Four product launches in parallel would have been a year-long plan in the past.

Right now, a shift is happening in my field: just recently we were guiding AI step by step, now we're handing entire tasks over to it completely. Over the last few days, I've read many voices describing exactly this—startled and excited all at once. I often feel the same way.

This campaign itself was created with major AI support, from blog posts to social media.

We're noticing: this shift is arriving right now on construction sites, in purchasing, and in logistics. That's where we want to help. That's why we built the AI Check: you answer three questions, and we get back to you with concrete ideas on where AI can already take work off your plate today.

Thanks to our team that built, tested, and wrote during this week. I appreciate every bit of feedback.
