# Connect AI Assistants

Your company's technical contact or IT department usually sets up the connection. There's no separate implementation effort required.

## How to connect your assistant

1. **Activation:** In a Discovery Call, we'll learn about your workflows. Then we'll guide you through onboarding and activate your company. Schedule a meeting on the [MCP Server](/en/software/integrations/mcp-server) page.
1. **Open instructions:** In klarxMANAGER, go to **Settings → MCP Server** to find the klarx MCP Server address and instructions for your assistant: Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, and others.
1. **Connect and log in:** Enter the address in your AI assistant and log in with your klarxMANAGER credentials. For Claude, there's a direct "Connect with Claude" button.

After that, your assistant works with your klarx data. It sees exactly the orders, invoices, and companies you see in klarxMANAGER.

## Supported assistants

- Claude
- ChatGPT
- Microsoft Copilot, including in Excel
- Gemini
- Langdock

Connecting external tools is usually included in the paid plans of these providers. You can connect AVA, ERP, and project management systems once they support MCP.

## How long does setup take?

Before you start, there's a Discovery Call and onboarding. Once your company is activated, the connection itself takes just a few minutes: enter the address, log in, and authorize the connection.

## Can I connect custom agents?

Yes. Any agent that supports MCP can connect to klarx the same way.

## What login does the assistant use?

The klarx login of the person setting up the connection. The assistant has the same permissions as that login—see [Rights and Data Security](/en/help/for-customers/ai-assistants-integrations/rights-and-data-security).
