# Rights and Data Security

You remain in control of your AI assistant: Login is managed through your klarx account, you decide what permissions your agent has at klarx, and you can revoke access at any time.

## Rights

Your agent has exactly the permissions that their klarx login allows. Accounting staff see accounting data, admins use all tools. An overview of [user roles](/en/help/for-customers/klarxmanager/account-company-and-users) shows what each role can do.

Every action your agent takes is logged.

## Data Security

Your data is stored in a data center in Frankfurt am Main and is therefore subject to European and German data protection standards (GDPR). Data transmission is encrypted via TLS, the standard you know from online banking. In case of outages, there are live backups of the last 7 days and daily backups at an external location.

Yes, at any time. After that, the assistant will no longer have access to your klarx data.
